Techne: Personalization at the Edge
This talk demonstrates using WebGPU for on-device inference to deliver personalized navigation on Hacker News, exploring technical challenges and implementation details.

I will demo how Techne delivers a personalized navigation for Hacker News.
Will keep it focused on technical bits after introducing the larger story on a slide or two. The key technical bits are around how WebGPU can be used to do inference within the browser and what are some of the technical implications of leveraging such inference for personalization capabilities specifically.
